There are many reasons why people prefer to use Whatsapp over other messaging apps.

WhatsApp Messenger is a free instant messaging software that runs on Android and iPhone. You can send text messages to other people individually or in groups using it. In addition, WhatsApp conversations are conducted over the internet rather than through your phone provider’s network. This distinction is significant because it means that WhatsApp messages are not subject to the same government surveillance as traditional text messages.

Another advantage of WhatsApp is that it allows you to share photos, videos, and other files without worrying about file size limits. You can also make voice and video calls using WhatsApp. The app has end-to-end encryption, meaning your conversations are private and can only be read by the people involved.

Finally, WhatsApp is widely used worldwide, making it a convenient way to stay in touch with friends and family who live in different countries.

WhatsApp Messenger has been downloaded 39 million times since August 2021, according to AppFigures. Most downloads came from Google Play (with 29 million installs), with another 10 million coming from the App Store.

WhatsApp is currently the fourth most downloaded app in the world, behind TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
